Short answer
Buy Liquid Death Energy through a linked US retailer account by November 30
The collaboration runs from September 25 to November 30, 2026 in the United States only. Buying Liquid Death Energy at Amazon, Target, Walmart, Instacart or Kroger unlocks an in-game pack headlined by Chainsaw Flex, a Legendary animated pose that any playable character can use.
You claim it at liquiddeath.com/freechainsaws. The announcement says to connect your retailer account on that page and then buy; Xbox’s October 1 post describes it as uploading your receipt. Follow whichever flow the page shows you.

Which purchases count
The product named is Liquid Death Energy, described as an energy drink with 5 calories, zero sugar and 100 mg of caffeine. The announcement does not say that the brand’s water or tea products qualify, so do not assume they do.
The order of steps matters in the official wording: connect the retailer account first, then purchase. A purchase made before linking may not be recognised. The announcement does not list a minimum quantity, a per-person limit or how the code is delivered; those terms live on the claim page.
Outside the United States
There is no official way to claim the pack from another country during the promotion. There is a later route, though. The Coalition’s launch notes say cosmetic items available only through limited-time partnerships will become available in the Barracks for Coins and Iron after the partnership’s exclusivity term ends.
No date is given for that, and the notes do not name this pack specifically. It is the general rule for promotional items, so Chainsaw Flex should eventually be obtainable in-game.
